Everything is just a little better during the summer time. The sun shines a little bit brighter, the music gets played louder, and the days are longer–which means your shades get more action than ever! Luckily, as the temperature gets hotter, so do our sunglasses. Apart from the price tag, It turns out the difference between a $40 pair of sunglasses and a $400 pair is often as little as the shiny designer logo stamped on the side. Of course, this excludes professional sunglasses that are designed for work or sight and that contain prescription lenses enhanced with UV protection and polarized lenses that reduce the glare you get from water, snow, cars, and concrete. Otherwise, it's more the brand itself that raises the price of those nice-looking shades we all want to wear for 3 months. I must confess that I like to save money and usefully I own around 4-5 different pairs of accessory sunglasses that are lower in price but I can combine them with different outfits and one pair of professional sunglasses I take on the road with me.
The question is can we so confidently recommend that a cheap pair of sunglasses is just as good as a super-premium luxury pair? It turns out that nearly all the luxury and mid-level off-brand sunglasses in the world are produced by a single company, Luxottica, as The Wall Street Journal highlights in their guide to the world of sunglasses manufacturing and buying. I don't know about you, but I’m totally comfortable paying 500-1000% less than designer prices especially if your only intent is to wear them as an accessory to complete your look.
I am very picky when it comes to sunglasses and I must try them on and determent if they really go with the shape of my face so I’m always a little apprehensive when it comes to online buying. Sunglass Warehouse has a ginormous assortment of sunglasses in all shapes and sizes and the site is laid out to make it easy to find the style you are looking for. They have women’s sunglasses, men’s sunglasses, and kids’ sunglasses! I purchased two pairs and I picked them from TRENDS page. Delivery was super-fast and the box arrived in perfect condition. I opened the box to find 2 amazing pairs of sunglasses. Both pairs looked good on me (Thank God) and thankfully I spent less than $22.
My two picks:
Presidio - $12.95
Square shades with flat mirrored lenses with a bold metal brow bar (you know, so the frame stays attached while still looking cool).
Mackey - $13.95
Not all aviators are created equally. This superior style has colorfully mirrored lenses and sleek, all-metal temples for additional "wow" points.

If you check out their website you will be stunned by the abundance of choice when it comes to shape, color, material, lenses etc. Prices are the key as every single pair cost less than $16. It’s important to note that even though these are super affordable sunglasses, they DO also provide much-needed UV protection for your eyes. When it comes to quality I would compare it to accessory style glasses from Forever 21 or H&M.
