I don't know about you ladies, but I have struggled to find appropriate foundation for my skin for years. My issue was not so much finding the right shade, but rather finding a good quality make up that will fit my skin type (I have a combination of very oily and very dry skin) and that will not leave me penniless.

Quite randomly, in one of the lifestyle magazines I had, I noticed the Bare Minerals Matte foundation and thought to give it a go. For those of you that are not familiar with the brand, Bare Escentuals is a cosmetic company that unveiled its first fully mineral makeup line in 1995, BareMinerals. Bare Escentuals has received numerous awards for its pioneering and revolutionary new line.

I tried the BAREMINERALS MATTE SPF15 FOUNDATION, which comes in various shades, and I was pleasantly blown away.  BareMinerals really provides fantastic coverage with a natural, matte finish. Foundation in various shades has a soft texture that looks like a powder, but feels like a cream on your skin. Buffing on effortlessly, the mineral foundation reduces the appearance of enlarged pores, whilst diminishing the look of fine lines and wrinkles without drying out your skin. Designed to not clump or cake, the multi-tasking formula also increases cell turnover to give your skin a more youthful-looking appearance according to various on-line reviews. It also contains SPF 15 to protect your skin from the sun's harmful UV rays.  Being that I currently reside in Dubai, this is truly helping prevent burning and premature aging that's caused by sun exposure.

If you want to try multiple products at once, I recommend getting the BareMinerals starter kit for 80 USD. I will definitely try the rest of the products as I'm quite intrigued with this brand and of course let you know about it my Coffee Lovers!

Price of the Matt Bare Minerals Powder Foundation:  18 US $
